In Kokan region the governer of janjira Nawab Siddi Shah had special generosity with Shriwardhan. It has long lasting sea coast among the hills and wonderful valleys. Maulvi Haji Abdul Rahim Burud has enlightened the candle of light in the form of Jamiya Husainiya., because of Jamiya Husainiya many stars of belief of Islam twinkling in the thousands of houses in Shriwardhan. Hazrat Mohioddin Tajir, Quazi Mahemood Maheslai & Munshi Abdul Quadeer Khalifa are the top most teachers of era has taught here. In the beginning of 19th century Sir Sayyed Ahmed khan started the movement of modern education with the influence of Sir Sayyed Ahmed Khan’s movement some educational lover of janjira Murud has established “ Anjuman Islam Janjira” with encouragement of Sir Sayyed Ahmed Khan and Foundation of Anjuman Islam Janjira the spark of knowledge And literature began to shine in the dark houses of Kokan. This spark of education stimulated to Shriwardhan.

Late Mohamad Saeed Ghansar, Late Bashir Ahmed Kardame, Late Abdus Samad Kardame Mr. Ibrahim Burud & Muzaffar Hsain Arai has determined to bring the ray of education from JanjiraMurud to Shriwardhan & they determined to established urdu high school in Shriwardhan.

These educational lover had brought broken and dead furniture from their houses and established Anjuman Islam Janjira high school Shriwardhan in 1972. The founders of primary school in Shriwardhan late Bashir Ahmed Kardame and Mohammad Sayeed Ghansar donated half part of their building to Anjuman Islam Janjira high school & also promised to give one room each year.

Muslim bazme Ittehad wa taraqqui has given this huge building to Anjuman Islam Janjira high school, when today the given building of Bazme Muslim ittehad o taraqqui has managed to make a strong tree with small plant.

On 1s August 1972 Mr. Shakeel H. Khanzada was appointed as first headmaster of Anjuman IslAM Janjira high School Shriwardhan. Mr. Shakeel H. Khanzada was the master of farsighted and had the ability of grand administration. The first gathering of school held on 4th February 1973. The president of the gathering was Abdus sattar Burud and chief guest was principal Abdul Quddus Munshi.

We would remember that the period of 1972-73 was drought period in Maharashtra state, So the management donated their gathering income to help the needy people of Maharashtra state those who are suffering from drought.

In this way the efforts of Anjuman is going on by leaps and bounds with firm determination. In this period some figures played a very vital role in the cultural activities and science field.The names that important personalities those who served in Anjuman are Mr. Shaikh Chand V, Mr.Mukri Ibrahim A, Mr. Syyed Zameer, Mr. Khanzada Azeem H, Mr. Sidddique Hameed A, Mr.Magribi Basha Mr.Shabbir A. R Khatib and Mr.Alvi Mohammad Azhar.From the last year present principal Mr. Najiullah Khan Zafar Khan is playing an important role in progressing and expanding the mission of education in proper direction.
